I have a lifetime of fishing experience all over Central and Eastern North Carolina both recreationally and commercial. Freshwater and the salt. Breadman Ventures Guide Service is based out of the Sneads Ferry/Topsail Island area and I have been guiding anglers full-time for over a decade. For leisure I compete on several Redfish Circuits and compete from NC to LA. My partner and I have put together a pretty impressive resume of wins and top finishes over the years. When you set foot on my boats you can feel comfortable knowing you are in good hands. I'm as salty as it gets when it comes to fishing. I fish the entire area and I offer the following

Our Targets
I offer lite tackle trips targeting redfish, speckled trout, black drum, bull reds (old drum), flounder and striped bass in our inshore backwaters. you can inquire about species specific trips. I fish the entire Greater Topsail Area/ Neuse/Pamlico along with other areas of our coast depending on season. Flounder gigging trips are also available when in season.
Our Boats
For inshore trips you will be on a SCB 22 Stingray. (OG) This is a top of the line inshore rig made to fish the skinny backwaters and get us to and from safely and dry. The SCB is powered by a Mercury Marine 300 V-8.
Flounder gigging trips will be aboard a 2070 custom built Lowe powered by a Mercury 115. This boat is large enough for everyone to feel comfortable while stalking the flats for flatfish.

I was on Vacation on Topsail island and Captain Allen was referred to me from past Captains I met years ago as we have been going for about 15 years. Our trip was over the week of the 4th. I had my 15 year old son, his friend and my 71 year old dad, it was great! The Captain put us on the fish like it was nothing, he is awesome! He was very instrumental to the boys who had never fished like that before and teaching them what to do. Next year we will definitely be booking him again! Thanks Captain again for a memorable day!

Allen will without a doubt work his butt off for you. I noticed about halfway thru the first day (we fished with him 2 days, both he made successful) that he knew the water and wasn't just flying by the seat of his pants. You can tell he has a ton of time on the water under his belt and he knows the areas well. Both days we fished with him.... We got our money's worth! He will NOT just take your money and take you for a boat ride. Breadman Ventures Guide Service is well worth the money. LOOK NO FURTHER for a guide to take you fishing.

Allen works hard to put you on the fish even with weather or fish not wanting to act right we had a good trip with him Saturday and will hope to go again soon
