Captain David O’Farrell began his guiding career at just 18 years old, starting out as a guide at Grizzly Creek Lodge. Over time, he and his wife, Reggie, were entrusted with managing the lodge—a position they held for 22 years before eventually purchasing it. Now, Grizzly Creek Lodge offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Guests can spend a full week immersed in nature, fishing daily under Captain David’s expert guidance.

Each week, the lodge welcomes a small number of anglers, ensuring a personalized and relaxing experience. Guests will board a 16’ Lund boat, designed for two anglers, and use a fishfinder to locate their next big catch. With Captain David’s extensive knowledge, guests can expect to reel in up to 40 fish per day—most of which will be released, while a select few are kept for a classic shore lunch.

Target species include Lake Trout and Northern Pike, both known for their thrilling fights. Throughout the week, guests will be transported to different lakes for the best fishing opportunities. Various fishing techniques are available, including fly fishing, trolling, and jigging. Fly fishing gear is provided, though experienced anglers are welcome to bring their own favorite rod.

This all-inclusive adventure covers everything needed for an unforgettable trip, including rods, reels, bait, lures, accommodations, room service, and all meals with non-alcoholic beverages. A valid fishing license covering the entire week is required before arrival.
