With years of experience fishing and a deep knowledge of various techniques, Captain Chris enjoys sharing his expertise with others, making every trip special.
Fishing in the area often targets species like Largemouth Bass, Striped Bass, White Bass, Catfish, Hybrid Striped Bass, and more, depending on luck. Guests can expect to engage in light tackle fishing, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, and potentially more specialized techniques unique to the area.
Families are welcome on board, with kids encouraged to join the adventure. It’s a good idea to ask if child-sized life vests are available, or bring your own just in case. Snacks are also recommended to keep everyone happy and energized during the trip.
The fishing takes place on a 22’ Blue Wave center console boat, which comfortably accommodates up to 6 passengers, or a 23ft Harris pontoon that accommodates up to 8anglers or 10 guests for tours. The boats comes fully equipped with everything needed for a successful trip. Captains Chris & Steph provides rods, reels, and lures, and live bait is available.
A First Mate will also be aboard to ensure everything runs smoothly. As mates typically work for tips, guests should plan to offer a 10–20% gratuity for their assistance. The trip includes live bait, catch cleaning and filleting, drinks, as well as all necessary rods, reels, and tackle.
Before setting out, guests must purchase a local fishing license for everyone in the group. This can typically be done online or by asking the captain directly. Some species may have specific regulations or require a tag, so it’s important to be informed. Guests are encouraged to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water, although the captain will provide drinks as well. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but hard liquor and glass bottles are not permitted.

We had a fantastic time with Captain Chris on our tour. He taught us three different fishing methods and introduced us to various tackle. We caught 5 striper and 2 sand bass. Captain Chris was amazing, especially with our 2-year-old, making sure they had a great time. He also provided excellent recommendations for local food and activities. Everyone had a blast, and I highly recommend Krazy Fins Tour!

We started bright and early, and they knew exactly where the fish would be at 7 AM. What a fun experience! The husband and wife team worked seamlessly together and were very accommodating. The lake was beautiful, with plenty of wildlife along the shores. This trip was both fun and relaxing. 💯 We’ll definitely be back in November!

Chris got us right on the fish, and using topwater poppers made the experience even more exciting. We caught our limit of impressive stripers and were back at the dock by 8:30. Highly recommend fishing with him!
